This resolution expressed concern that the cease-fire called for in S/RES209, S/RES/2010, and S/RES/211 was not holding despite both India and Pakistan agreeing to it. The Council demanded that the parties honor their commitment, cease fire, and withdraw all armed personnel 

Expresses grave concern that the cease-fire agreed to unconditionally by GoI and GoP is not holding and demands that GoI and GoP urgently honor their commitments to UNSC to observe the case-fire and calls upon the parties to promptly withdraw all armed personnel to fully implement UNSC Resolution 211
