Calls upon GoI and GoP to make immediate arrangements to prepare and execute within a period of five months a program of demilitarization on the basis of principles separately set out (with such modifications as may be mutually agreed)
Appoints a UN Representative to assist in and supervise the implementation of the program of demilitarization, help find an enduring solution of the dispute between GoI and GoP regarding the Princely State, take over the powers and responsibilities of UNCIP and to arrange for the assumption by the plebiscite administrator of its functions at an appropriate stage of demilitarization
